Renewing the digital nomad visa (visado para teletrabajadores) is where a good file pays off a second time. The first card is issued for three years; the renewal takes you to five, and from there to long-term residence. We assemble and file the whole renewal so the paperwork never becomes the thing that holds you up.
What changes at renewal
The renewal asks you to show that the situation the first visa was granted on still holds — you are still working remotely for clients or employers outside Spain, your income is still sufficient, and your health cover is still valid. At present the renewal does not require you to have become a tax resident, though the authorities review the rules each year.
